The San Mattia BIANCO is a clear, straw-coloured wine, with greenish hues. Youthful aromas of flowers and fruit are scented immediately, in particular citrus fruits and white flowers. After a few seconds the more complex aromas of exotic and yellow-fleshed fruit will become apparent to the nose. On the palate it is fresh, full flavoured with a medium finish and leaves a pleasing fruit taste in the mouth, which is not overpowering. With its 12% alcohol content and light and vibrant body, the San Mattia Bianco is an enjoyable wine for celebrating all the quiet moments of daily life. Grapes and harvest Garganega and Chardonnay grapes, grown espalier with the Guyot pruning method. In chalky and shallow soil, we grow 5700 vines per hectare. Production amounts to around 90 quintals per hectare and harvesting is done entirely by hand. Wine Making and Aging The wine making of both grapes is carried out, separately, in steel. The final blend is done in steel and the wine ages for a year in the bottle before being served.
